Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Shopping From Ghar. By placing a request, you agree to these terms.
Effective: October 2026
Service Charges
Standard Charges (within 1.5 km)
- Service Charge: ₹49 per shopping request
- Delivery Fee: ₹1 (introductory offer, within 1.5 km)
- Handling Fee: ₹1 (introductory offer, within 1.5 km)
- Product Cost: Paid directly to the respective shop — not collected by Shopping From Ghar
Distance Beyond 1.5 km
- If the applicable shopping or delivery distance exceeds 1.5 km, additional delivery and/or handling charges may apply.
- All applicable charges will be communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.
- The customer may choose to proceed or cancel before confirmation.
Multiple Shops
- You may request shopping from up to 3 shops in one service request.
- The applicable route, distance, and charges will be communicated before confirmation.
Weight Limit
Maximum 20 kg Per Order
- The total weight of all products purchased across all shops in a single order must not exceed 20 kg.
- This limit applies to the combined weight of all items from all shops in one request.
- Shopping From Ghar reserves the right to decline or cancel orders where the combined product weight exceeds 20 kg.
- Customers will be informed before the order is finalised if the weight limit is likely to be exceeded.
No Return / No Exchange Policy
All Purchases Are Final
- All purchases made through Shopping From Ghar are final.
- Customers must carefully check the product through the live video call before confirming the purchase.
- Before asking our agent to purchase a product, please verify: product, size, colour, design, quantity, price, available stock, and all other relevant details.
After Purchase Is Confirmed
- No return through Shopping From Ghar after delivery.
- No exchange through Shopping From Ghar after delivery.
- No product replacement through Shopping From Ghar after delivery.
- The agent cannot be asked to return the product to the shop after delivery.
Customer Confirmation Required
- Before the agent purchases the product, the customer must confirm: "I have checked and selected this product and understand that Shopping From Ghar does not provide returns or exchanges after delivery."
- Any legally required warranty, guarantee, recall, return or replacement obligation of the shop or applicable law may still apply.
- Shopping From Ghar does not guarantee that a shop will accept a return or exchange.
Prohibited Products
Shopping From Ghar does not accept requests to purchase, collect or deliver:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Cigarettes, tobacco or nicotine products
- Illegal drugs
- Firearms, ammunition or prohibited weapons
- Explosives or dangerous materials
- Stolen or counterfeit goods
- Illegally obtained goods
- Products prohibited by applicable Indian law
- Products requiring legal authorisation where the required conditions cannot be satisfied
- Any product that cannot legally or safely be purchased or delivered through the service
Right to Refuse
- Shopping From Ghar may refuse, cancel or stop any request that appears illegal, unsafe, suspicious or contrary to these Terms & Conditions.
Product Payment
Direct Payment to Shop
- Product payment is made directly to the respective shop.
- Shopping From Ghar does not collect the product purchase amount on behalf of the shop.
- The agent may provide the shop's UPI QR code, UPI ID, or other payment method supplied by the shop.
- Customers should verify the shop name and payment amount before making payment.
Delivery
Delivery Efforts
- Shopping From Ghar will make reasonable efforts to deliver purchased products to the customer's provided address.
Delivery Time
- Delivery time may vary depending on traffic, shop waiting time, product availability, weather, distance, multiple-shop routing, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Fraud & Misuse
Prohibited Uses
- Customers must not use Shopping From Ghar for fraud, money laundering, or unauthorised transactions.
- Use of stolen payment methods is strictly prohibited.
- Purchasing counterfeit goods or making illegal purchases is not permitted.
- Any other unlawful activity is prohibited.
Reporting
- Suspicious transactions may be cancelled or reported where legally required.
Agent Safety
Right to Refuse
- Our agents may refuse a request where they reasonably believe that the product, transaction, location or circumstances create a legal or safety risk.
Customer Information
Accuracy Required
- Customers must provide accurate contact and delivery information.
- Customer information may be used as necessary to arrange shopping, communication and delivery, subject to the Shopping From Ghar Privacy Policy and applicable law.
